Really, this ++++1.

As a Kouki owner, options were few and far in between. Believe at the time I was mulling ideas, options were mainly watching a user here sort out an INGS+1 custom fit, that TK-style thing, Carbon Signal, and then the Varis lip.

Of those options, the only real worthwhile idea was the Varis option imo. One-and-done so the extra hundred US dollars would be it's worthwhile vs. getting something cheaper for the sake of being cheaper. But what, ~$800 + shipping for a large piece of FRP only fastened to the front bumper? Gonna have to paint it as well. Starts to make the carbon option more worthwhile although that might need a protective clear finish as well. In both cases you might be looking to have the body shop work on fitting, too.

So doing this meticulously correct is going to be maybe getting closer to $1,500 - $2,000 depending on what deal you get and what labor costs. Note this is an add-on part. You damage it, sourcing a replacement and/or paying again to refinish could start to be a downhill and long-winded investment vs. a Nismo front conversion that you can more easily access for replacement — with the merit of built-in design vs. being added on. Other aftermarket bumpers might not have that same merit, but they may also have considerable worthwhile advantages over investing into a lip. More creative control.

But not hating on people who went the lip route. End result of those who put in the effort got it looking really good.

I’m coming from a q50 where lips where reasonable affordable
I would go through 1 every 6 months so spending 200 on one was ok.
Looking at splitters for a 370z is upwards of 350 for a decent one, no matter how well they made You can’t escape crappy streets
