Default 4th Brake Light?

I took my rear bumper off for another reason, but when doing so I looked at my dummy 4th brake light. There is a harness going to it with a plug on the end. It plugs into the 4th brake light housing but the plug on the housing goes nowhere. It looks like it's basically a holder for the plug. Is my 2010 Roadster pre-wired for a 4th brake light and can I just purchase the light and plug it in?

The harness is for a fog light (which is the proper description for what you call a 4th break light). The wiring goes to a button on the interior which is used to turn on the fog light during a fog. This button (and a functioning fog light) is only found on Canadian, JDM and I believe European and Australian models (they maybe a few others). Not on US models.

Many people choose to use the fog light spot as a third brake light by not using the harness and wiring to the brakes. You can do the same.

The third brake light can be purchased from EVO-R or JDM toys.

You can also choose to wire an OEM fog light and fog light button, if so desires, by using the existing harness.

Thanks, I'm going to go with the iJDMTOY Rear Fog Light kit from Amazon. Which one do you think I should go with, the red/clear or red/dark? I do not want the smoked.
