4th brake light

I see that there is a open wiring harness next to the 4th brake light. Does anyone know if that has power to it? Is that for the fog light option? Wondering if I could buy a light and use that harness.

I realize that I can also wire a light into the rear tail light to make it a true 4th brake light.

There is no power to it. Yes its for the 4th fog light. There is several wire up options for this. Your going to want to refer to the diy section and determine what set up suits your needs best.

I bought https://www.amazon.com/iJDMTOY-Brill...0z+brake+light and it comes with instructions to use your existing brake light housing since it's just an led. Took about 30 mins to 1 hour. Have to take the trunk apart a splice wires.

That harness actually works, it's for the Euro and JDM spec fog lamps. USDM 370Z's don't come wired so you'd have to wire it yourself.

There's many ways you can wire the fog lamp, using that oem harness is probably the easiest way to wire up the fog lamps (took me 10 minutes) only thing is the light will act as a parking brake light. It won't brighten when you step on the brakes.

If you want to wire up your rear fog lamp as another brake light where it brightens when you step on the pedal, you'd have to dig around the DIY section.

If you wanna do the easy way where the fog lamp acts as a static parking light that can be shut off along with the headlights, here is a write up from awhile back from forum member Cbtech:
