Default Rear ended, you know what that means? MODS

Hello all my fine Z enthusiasts, its been a long time since I have posted. (Almost 6 years) but I am back and alive to report my latest news involving the SUB ZERO Z.

Welp, back in February some idiot rear ended my Z (and hit 4 other cars) while i was minding my damn business at a stop light. Dude was going at least 60 MPH and ran into the big bulky old Nissan Xterra that then rammed into my car.

I was fine, glad to be alive of course, but my Z was seriously injured. Long story short, insurance declared it a total loss, BUT ya boy invested so much into this 2009 Z that I decided to keep it and fix her back up. Main damage was the rear of the car, so no engine issues.

With that said, I have decided its time to give her a makeover, so its currently at the bodyshop getting her *** fixed and I went ahead and bought the 2015 Nismo Front and Rear bumper conversion kit, Z speed undershroud, Fly 1 Motorsport Duckbill Spoiler, and Morimoto LED headlight for 370z, and updated Fast Intention muffles with burnt tips and 12" resonators.

I will post pics once everything is done, she will stay in the original Monterey Blue with black accents to keep the Sub Zero look.

For now here are pics of how she was looking before and of the accident. Enjoy.

Sorry about the accident, but I'm glad you're okay and decided to keep the Z. Good luck with the rebuild. Keep us posted on it.

Where are you located in MD? I'm about 20 minutes west of Frederick. I'm always looking for other Z owners to get together with from time to time.

Yeah but luckily he hit the SUV behind me first, which absorbed the initial impact and then the SUV hit me.

I've had a recent near miss last week. There is massive freeway construction in my area and routes were changed. One "beautiful" exit is being used for one of the reroutes and a long line formed. I got on it, as I'm waiting for the light to turn green I just hear loud tire squeal and crunching.
I just see this 1/2 ton truck (F150/1500 dont remember) brakes locked using the freeway exit wall to slow down her truck. I moved to my left as she passed to my right.
Always have room in front of you to move.

Update coming soon! Big Rona has caused some parts to be shipped late but I’ll post pics once I finally get the car back. Hopefully end of this week.

Screw the rona. The transmission manufacturing firm I work at went though their 6 month inventory in 2 months. Litereally EVERYBODY is working on their cars right now. So far I've had two orders for my Z get delayed a month (at least).

Guess who’s back? ♿️♿️♿️

Still got to install the louvers and waiting on the interior mod parts to arrive, overall I’m impressed how she looks in Monterey blue with the 2015 Nismo kit 👍

Some CF blades would complete the look.
