You’re talking about the DRL in the bumper? Had to be a bad connection or a wire. There shouldn’t be anything with the headlights that’s a part of that circuit other than you had to disconnect to remove the bumper.

As far as installation goes for the headlights it was easy. Only real problem was the fuse relay. The standard size fuse tap wasn’t very secure and closing the fuse cover was a pain. Either the side of the fuse cover was bulging out and can’t close correctly or the fuse would pop out of the socket a little when forcing the cover close. Instead my friend went and picked up a micro fuse tap. Much more secure and just had to mod the tap a little bit so it was easier to close the fuse cover. Wish I had a camera to take some better pictures because iPhone sucks. Headlights too bright and iPhone just picks up glare. Gotta wait to see if one of my boys wants to cruise and hold they bring a camera. Last edited by yingiee; 08-02-2020 at 08:21 AM. |

It's been a while. just wondering what you all think of your Morimoto's? Do you think they are to fancy for a stock roadster?

Do you mean, yes it's to fancy? Explain why you think that please. Do you have these lights? Was really liking the DRL's on them for my 2010.

Seems pretty obvious you're not going to be modding this car to the extent necessary for this to look good
aggressive, blacked out LED headlights on a pedestrian stock body is whack these things look good on a stanced car with some aero

So 78works did not get back to me about the taillights but I saw someone else had checked with next level so I asked them, they informed me that morimoto would be releasing them in about a month. 👍🏻

Have any of you guys had any issues with the Morimoto lights yet? I’m seriously considering getting the Morimoto XB lights for mine. I do like some of the other lights more but they are extra expensive plus I’d have to wait on them to be made, whereas I won’t have to wait as long for the Morimotos.
Also, what all comes with the lights? I’m assuming they actually use LED bulbs and not lights built in for the head lights? And yes I know that’s a dumb question lol, but just wanted to confirm one way or the other. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Unboxing is in the video on page 14.
If there very any serious issues, we would have heard about them by now in this thread.

Mine are starting to look like chit. Ugg, time for some new ones. I don't have DRl's, That means All I need to not do is plug in the extra power wire that goes to the fuse box, correct.
