Any news on when these ship? Ordered mine mid Feb, still no shipping confirmation.

If they are made in China, or any parts are. You might not be getting them for a while.
|
Last I heard the middle of March they were still on track with end of March shipment of first pre-orders. Here we are first of April and no updates. Hoping to see shipment confirmation any day now, but being realistic and not expecting them this month either.

I emailed Z1 this morning where I ordered the first pre-order. Here is their response:
Unfortunately there is a Delay at this time due to COVID. the ETA is a TBD at this time. WE may have further information and an update in a couple of weeks. So who knows how long it will be. |

I can't be mad. I don't even have a space available for me to work on the car right now since the garage is stuffed.
|
Got my email from Z1 today with tracking number through FedEX. Won't give me an ETA yet, probably have to wait 24 hours or so. But they are on their way!

I really would like to get these, but I suppose I'll just get the lip kit I've been eyeballing for a while first.
Anyone that is getting these needs to post an update once installed and let us all k bk omw how they are. |
It looks like those of us who pre-ordered the 2nd batch are pushed out now from mid-April to mid-May. Can't wait! You lucky first batchers please post up the pics. We're all waiting in anticipation of your installs and box openings. Queue the drool.

Quick tip, leave the middle sized connector unplugged to get the sequential turn signal to work. Also, it comes with a harness that connects to battery and runs a single wire to one connector on each headlight. I unplugged those while trying to figure out the turn signal and they didn’t seem to do a thing.

I will. We lost power for a couple of hours here. Got power back but tv/internet have been down since 4pm or so. I got everything done, but I have terrible cell service. Will update with pictures tomorrow hopefully.

I ran that harness and left it plugged in, but when I disconnected it, I didn’t see where it changed anything. Just saw a link on the YouTube video comments with the instructions. Yes, mine had terminals for battery/chassis so I didn’t have to worry about the fuse box. |
I just bought my set..:rock:
excited would be an understatement. |

The little sheet just showed where you are supposed to find install guide, but since the 370 headlights are not on the Morimoto site, there isn't much to find. I looked at the F150 and C6 Corvette guides to try and figure out what it could be for. Those both use the fuse box instead of battery for their extra harness. Both list that it is for the daytime running light. Having that smaller plug disconnected is how they show it for the sequential turn signal. Connected is for standard blinking. The extra harness is probably for the drl. I dont currently have both lights in and only tested the one Morimoto light with the headlights on, then high beam on and checked if blinker worked. |

Just a few pics guys. Will try to do a better full review once I have a chance to align and test out.

I followed up with The Retrofit Source and they confirmed we skip steps 16-22, since there will be a provided harness that directly connects to our battery terminal, rather than the fuse box. |
Those look good man! Someone in my area has them. I'll have to bother him when the quarantine is lifted.
admittedly I'm enjoying my hipsterism too much going back to 4500K HIDs (they look like halogens next to my WRX's OEM LEDs if we are honest) |

It was very straight forward and simple to do. The kit does come with a wiring harness that you do not need (at least I didn't). The first video shows the turn signals with the connector in the back hooked up to where it is a solid turn signal and the second video I unplugged it to make it sequential. Overall satisfied with the lights and prefer them much more than the '09-'14 stock headlights. |

Finished mine earlier today so no night shots yet.
The car is filthy as it seems to rain about every other day. Also swapped to red center caps. Now I need to get to swapping out my brakes. |

Also, I noticed in your video that with the sequential turn signal the first time the LED’s only goes 1/4 the way up. Mine does the same thing. |
