And I was so far ahead of your car at the time, you still haven't caught me. :tiphat: By the way, I've had that supercharger since 2017. It had at least 100 miles on it. ;)

Took a gander under the Z. I have the o-ring already. So that isn't the source of the rattle. I'mma grease up the insert and we'll see what happens...

Although you set yourself up for a snarky comment, I'm going to stay on topic :tiphat: Grease the pin also.

I could see how the insert could be a source of the rattle

I should clarify, I greased it after I inspected the bottom of the shifter. It was not previously greased.

Does it fit tight up into the shifter?

It fit semi-snugly into the shifter before I lubed it up. There were no obvious-by-feel gapping issues. The insert slid smoothly into and out of the shifter without effort. When I put this hot mess all back together I'll grease up the bolt as well as the sides of the shifter where it mates with the linkage and we'll see if that calms it down.

And yes, all of the above statements are also relevant to any sex acts involving yall's wildly-varied yet equally disgusting perversions - looking at you, Mike/James aka the poor white man's version of Mike Jones.:wtf2::stirthepot:
