I prefer it way more than the stock shift knob(straight trash) or an aluminum shift knob.

That's why I keep a black microfiber cloth in the car to cover the shift knob in the summer

I keep the gloves i use for autocross / track days in my car if its unbearably hot, its retaining of heat is the only real downside of a brass shiftnknob. That and its weight if your assembly is falling apart
