hmm.. intersting.. Do you have to take apart the whole steering wheel?

I used this /\ new harness for my fog light install. I am very happy with it. This is available from THE Z STORE . I don't feel comfortable taking the steering wheel apart but that's just me (my ). Good find though.

I've been trying to decide whether I want to have stalks backwards for a couple weeks now.
Curious on why no one has installed this here yet.

First being my car did NOT have a harness in the back so I wouldve had to wireup a new line anyway. Not plug'n'play like how it sounds on the site on my car.

Next, I wanted to use real switches on the 3 dummies on the center console next to the cup holder. So I wired mine up to that.

Kevr6, I think it is because of those blank switches (or single in touring) that many people have. Instead of having to tear down the steering column and do all that, just a quick wire job to the center switches with an easy on/off toggle and you are good to go.

"The steering column control switch stalk is reversed from the USDM version to accommodate JDM right hand drive vehicles."

So if you swap it out, your directional's are on the right?

I also didn't want to have a dead rear wiper switch on the stalk. Still liking your new harness better, AK.

AK's solution is the way to go for me. I'm not a fan of having to flip the stalks like that..

I ended up using a switch to the center console to turn it on/off also it only powers on if the car is on.

Good points...but I may still try it. I've always done that with my past German cars.
I want front fogs and other I.C.E. control in that center location. But if there indeed isn't a harness then running a wire is required anyway.
We'll see...not a high priority right now for me.

Yeah , they have it but you still have to run a wire from connector # M-7 which is a lever type release. In the middle of that connector you will find a blue colored section. Just below the red wire is the socket for pin # 45, that where the the wire for the fog lights gose. From there you need to run the wire to the back of the car, (you will need to remove the center garnish panel and the left hand side garnish panel in the trunk area along with the spare tire and so forth). My car did not come wired from the M-7 connector to the trunk. I don't know what the courtesy kit comes with but I can tell you that the car is not wired for the rear fog light from the bottom of the dash to the rear of the car. My mod went completely different, 1st I purchased a fog light from ebay, 2nd I purchased a 2009 nissan murano combination switch assy that comes with the fog light switch already on the correct side of the column. 3rd opened the combonation switch and added a diod and cut the blue wire and changed its location to be compatible with the output signal of the 370z.4th. cut the additional wires for the rear wiper and tucked them back. Installed the Murano combination switch and whalahhh its works. NOTE !!! I purched water tight connector from MOUSER electronics online to make the connections to the rear fog light.

The M-7 connector is just above the left side kick panel. There are two connectors there and both are white, M-7 is the connector that gose from left to right not fwd and aft.

NOTE: also the the courtesy kit is JDM and the controls are on the opposite side.
