Your hood sits a lot higher than mine when not latched, if you can screw the latches in more to reduce their height and maybe try removing the rubber stoppers

Your hood sits a lot higher than mine when not latched, if you can screw the latches in more to reduce their height and maybe try removing the rubber stoppers to see if they are causing the problem
