Is there a fix for the hatchback springs to open the gate easier. I am not talking about the struts but the springs thats located in the hatch on each

I am not talking about the struts but the springs thats located in the hatch on each side. When I open the hatch it does not pop all the way up so I have to use my hand to lift it up from a locked position. Did a search on here and could not find any hits on this topic.. Thansk
