Cut hole in interior so I can adjust rear coilovers

The measurement are:
2-3/4" from front of cover

2-1/2" from inside edge

I just did mine and they were perfect. Only 3/8" holes.

By the way, that was using a regular Stanley carpenters tape measure.

I have at least half a dozen of the Stanley tapes laying around, I’ll be sure to grab one of those for precision’s sake.

The reason I mentioned that is, even though the trunk plastic is rounded, the hook on the tape measure will still hook on the rounded edge enough to give you an accurate measurement. Otherwise, there's no edge to measure from.

Did you get around to doing this? Any adjustment needed or is it safe just to drill a 3/8 hole dead center of the measurements that were provided?
