Here's something....CARBON

Seibon's carbon fiber doors for the 370z are out.

Don't know if it's wet carbon or dry carbon or really where to buy it (Probably costs $2000 as I know)... I just posted it cause it looks cool and contributes a little to weight loss. They're outside panels for the doors and yeah.....cooooool

the stock doors are aluminum, so it would be near retarded to switch to carbon. switching glass would net a better savings

Definitely true, I'm pretty sure this doesn't save that much weight per door and it's not worth getting the doors just for weight savings...I've found out the door is wet carbon and that means you'll need to pay like $4,000 for an outcoming dry carbon version...These doors are really more for showing off carbon fiber or cause ur just crazy for carbon

FOB is 35 grams.

FOB without key is 21 grams.

So to shave 14 grams, drive without the key in it.

Actually, I just saw a scale and wanted to contribute to the thread.

Only got 1 of the backs on last night. I got home late from work + the lower arm bolt was being stubborn and wouldnt pop out. Should have the rest installed tonight!

Non sport package rims: Enkei 18x8 and 18x9
weight: front:10.1kg (22.2 pounds)
rear:10.8kg (23.8 pounds)
lol almost same with the "super lightweight" Forged rays sport pkg wheels.

except the super lightweight rays wheels are also 19" to allow space for the brakes.
