Default Gearbox and Diff Fill and Drain plug thread size

Hey everyone,

As the title suggests I am wanting to know what the fill and drain plug threads are on both the 6 speed manual transmission and the rear diff (standard LSD). If anyone can help out that would be great.

Cheers

they already have magnetic plugs if that is why you are asking. if you stripped them that is a different story and you will end up having to drill them out and tap them bigger anyway.

No its not for that. Im building a diff and transmission cooler so need to know the fill plug threads.

Both drain plugs I gather are M18x1.5. I just need to know the fill plugs now.

Can anyone help with the fill plug thread?

Pull out the fill plug and measure it with a thread gauge. I recall they both had same type thread when I changed my Diff oil.
