That is one of the most refreshing answers I have ever received on this forum.

No guessing...

No speculation...

No theorizing...

If you don't know, you don't know.

Default Mocal Thermostatic Sandwich Plate

I have the answer regarding exchanging the Stillen sandwich plate with a Mocal thermostatic one. The supplied stillen fittings will not work. You need to get two 90 degree 1/2 BSP to 8 AN fitting and two Mocal bonded washers. The total cost is around $110.

This will allow the Mocal unit to replace the Stillen unit exactly.

If this all sounds like another language you can call BatInc. and they will assist you in getting the right parts.

My thermostatic sandwich plate and my Stillen track cooler are currently in transit. I will update with the performance of this setup when everything is installed.

I am hoping that temps will barely go north of 190 degrees on the street and 220 on the track.
