if it was water damaged but not hydrolocked at a bare minimum you are going to need to check or replace the rings, if there was water in the cylinder

if it was water damaged but not hydrolocked at a bare minimum you are going to need to check or replace the rings, if there was water in the cylinder there was water in the rings and that will rust them, it will cause hell on the bores, so it my need a hone too, dropping it off at a machine shop at this point is the sensible decision
