OEM oil cooler removal with aftermarket?

09-11 one doesn't reach. The bolt that goes with the OEM oil cooler however works ok with the Mocal adaptor plate (with the OEM cooler removed). Just goes a bit

Why wouldn't it? All 09-11 guys use their OEM stuff with the mocal. The 12+ uses a longer inner thread piece since it has to go through a longer OEM cooler no?
