Engine oil question
My friend just bought some engine oils at the walmart store with decent price but he wanted to sell one of them to me since he bought too many oils for himself.
Do i need to stick to 5w30 as manual recommended? IMO, our vq3.7 engine needs higher viscosity engine oil than 5w30, in order to maintain high temp oil... Am i right? 1.castrol 5w50 4.4L (he want $30) 2.redline 5w30 4.4L (he want $40) 3.Amsoil 10w30 4.7L (he want $45) btw, it's canadian dollar. choose one for me plz...
