Hopefully one of yall has a fix for this or at least has experienced the same issue. twice this past week my air conditioner has shut off on its own.

A/C shuts off on its own????
Hopefully one of yall has a fix for this or at least has experienced the same issue.
twice this past week my air conditioner has shut off on its own. i leave my car running with the A/C on and doors looked so i can take my dog places. its worked flawless for 3 years now except this past weekend. luckily i wasn't in the store long when i came back to my air blowing hot and a pissed dog. down here it wouldnt take long to kill him if i was gone much longer! :/ does it shut off if things are too hot? the car wasnt being driven hard, just normal errand running.
