I never made it up there when I was in San diego. I settled for race legal which is an 1/8 mile, I also heard barona strip was nicely preped but its 1/8th mile too.

Nah.....:icon23:

Maybe alittle. Big props for taking the hard and expensive road of true N/A power.

I would love to have a 450Z with 450hp, but life goals take priority before that. So maybe a few yrs.

Holy crap -- that's incredible!

Not that I am in any way trying to diminish how awesome those gains are, but I am curious as to (1) what were the SAE numbers and the actual correction value for both SAE and STD? and also, (2) what were the ambient conditions? Finally, (3) I wonder if tuned for 93 it would be right about where you are with e85?

BTW, FWIW, I estimate you are making something unreal like 429 hp to the crank -- nearly 100 more than stock, which is insane!

1Slow, a fan of your work has a few questions...

Also, how's that thread coming along on the details? :pics:

Stillen Gen3 CAI
Stillen lightweight crank pulley
Z1 Motorsports modified intake plenum & PCV breather hoses
Berk 200cell HFCs
Motordyne Shockwave))) E370Z catback
UpRev tune (by Paul @ RS Tuning)

= 301.2 rwhp @ DynoDynamics

P.S.: To the tuner's surprise the car made untuned already 294.6 rwhp, which is why he explained he only managed to extract another 6.6hp.
The AFR was flattened and dialled in at around 12.8 at top end. The exh cam timing was slightly retarded throughout and ignition timing was advanced. The tune lasted ~2h and ~20 runs. The random AFR spikes where cause by the jittery sensor in the tailpipe (curve was flat on my dashboard AEM Wideband UEGO)

I'd say thats real good power on a dyno-dynamics, 315 ish on dynojet would be my uneducated guess

370Z JT 06-06-2015 04:57 PM

if that dyno graph is accurate, you gained +25ft-lbs tq through out the power band.

Elmo370z 06-06-2015 05:33 PM

Wonder how much more you could of gained tuning with ecu tek. Now vvel tuning is available

brucelidat 06-06-2015 06:05 PM

VVEL has been unlocked?

Elmo370z 06-06-2015 10:24 PM

Yes but the number of tuners is limited. And tune per gear flat foot shifting launch control etc... for na cars

brucelidat 06-06-2015 11:55 PM

So it's not for boosted applications yet?

Elmo370z 06-07-2015 01:32 AM

Yea for any application. Until u
uprev comes out with new updates ecu tek seems to be the way to go.
