Engine noise and transmission noises are completely normal. Just get used to it. That's just how these cars are.

Hmm may think about that extended warranty....and yea mines Auto and the 5 rpms is sweet winding spot till redline especially 1st/2nd gear MMMhhh

Sweet you're from the Valley?! Nice! There aren't too many Zs over here in Brownsville. But back to the subject. Yea I get kinda freaked out when I'm pushing over 5000 rpm and God forbid something messed up on my car. Ill just drive off a cliff or something.

Well i was driving a Miata before so...
And in any case, I was driving the Z up the alps, torque is just fine (even though one can always use more power...)

Thanks, that's what I needed to hear. Now i need to change my exhaust so it sounds better
