2700 is not going to happen. Although 2515 is very light and we are very pleased at this point, it is not in driving condition. The car has no glass, seats, roll cage, or entire brake system. All of those will add up to a weight well above 2700. That would be a sick power/weight. We will have to see how close we can get, although we have plans for well over 300whp.

Ha ha I am sure that thing you are working on is going to be a beast to say the least... but glass + seats + cage + brakes = what 3-400 at most... so you guys would have a 2900lb Z - still quite impressive :)

That's the plan :) And see if we can make 350whp ;)

What is this glass you speak of? :)

Target is 2750 dry, with cage and eveything.

Did you all forget this car was weighed with a full tank of gas which is at least 100lbs right there. Oh, and the OEM tank is coming out too. :)

^^noice! and congrats on your podium finishes with the GTR

shabarivas 08-04-2009 02:03 PM

My my... thats what about 600lbs knocked off... even if you didnt touch the engine / power mods - that should be good for mid 12s w/ a good driver... and I reckon that thats a mighty fun power to weight ratio

If each of my tech's grab a corner/side we can carry the car around the shop. :)

LOL. It's a race car build. Leaving it stock would defeat the whole purpose.
