Default Throttle position wire

Hey Guys,

I know I can tap the yellow wire right on the throttle body for this signal, but I was hoping someone has found a place to tap in the cabin? I have searched high and low and cannot seem to find one.

Would the gas pedal voltage signal be similar? Think Sprintbooster.... pedal position equals throttle position relatively...

I dont think so, I mean if your traction control takes over it takes control of the throttle valves. No longer does physical throttle position equal the position of the intake valves.

Looking at the manual you can go right to either PIN 31 or PIN 30 at connector F101.

I dont mean to threadjack your thread but since this is related.

Where are you guys tapping into get the RPM? I read that you can use the #1 coil (Pin 20) but I am not sure if this engine cuts spark at any time? Is anyone using Pin 75?

Jason (GaleForce) sent me that yesterday. I just have a problem with it. There is no wire in Pin 14. And the only 32 pin plug in the ECM the pin numbers range from 97-128. So I am a little confused. It does appear however that Pin 110 is a red wire and says Tacho so maybe that is the one? See attached.

It pin 14 of connector M107, which is terminal 110 of the ECM. One and the same.

According to EC-273 and EC-530 (2009 FSM), terminal 73 is the knock sensor for bank 1 and terminal 69 is the knock sensor for bank 2. Bank 1 is right side of engine (US passenger).

Edit: connector pinouts start at EC-541.

Perfect, Thanks for clearing that up for me SouthArk! Looks like it will be no trouble at all to get these two wires tapped considering where the ECU is.
