WTF! Is wrong with my clutch!!

If you have a supercharger and its the oem clutch might not be a bad idea to upgrade it to something that can handle some of the extra power.

hope it is covered by warranty. Most likely it's both MC and CSC.

Stock concentric slave cylinder failed, same thing happened to me. I ended up replacing mine and going with the ZSpeedPerformance upgraded heavy duty one, haven't had an issue since.

I'm confident its the CSC, the same exact thing happened to me a couple months ago with only 12k miles. They will probably give you crap about the SC but do mention to them its a junk part with a long history of failures and I do believe there is a TSB on this.

Ya almost definitely the CSC. I did the Zspeed CSC when I upgraded my clutch. 18,000 or something miles ago, no problem.

As for the warranty... I would be very cautious before arriving at a dealership with a supercharged 370z and asking for any warranty work. I believe that you can DEFINITELY get this covered under warranty... but I would call around and test the waters anonymously and see which dealer you find appears to be the most mod friendly. Some dealers can be real jerks about modifications.

Once your car is there, they know they get the work. They get paid better to charge you versus the warranty. So I would try and make the arrangements by phone first.

Why take it to the dealer? What is a warranty going to do if they even decide to honor it with a SC? The smart thing is to buy the HD CSC from ZSpeed. You can offered a SC I'd like to think buying a new clutch, CSC, and installation of such wouldn't hurt the pocket. Being you have a SC and the tranny is going to be dropped put a clutch in there.

OP was this with a stock pressure plate or aftermarket? thats the only way i could see u having issues with warranty. aftermarket will put more force on the csc possibly causing it fail prematurely.

btw, if stock, how many miles have u gotten outte the stock clutch with this sc system?

Default slave cylinder

my csc went out a couple of months ago and was fixed under warranty (i was told -/+$1200) and if it wasnt under warranty i would have def gone with the heavy duty one SPOHN was referring too. I was told these go out quicker because its (csc) is actually in the transmission bell housing and very labor intensive to replace and gets alot hotter.. and doesnt the stillen super charger come with a 3/36k warranty?

I recently replaced mine with the HD CSC when I upgraded the clutch. The OEM one is a cheap plastic piece of junk. And yes being inside the bell housing doesn't make it any more durable.

If you are going to replace it, ABSOLUTELY go with the HD CSC. It's ~200 more than the OEM one, and you don't want to have to replace it again in the future (especially if you're paying someone to do the work)

This thread kind of worries me now as I'm approaching 10k miles. Is it alright to just upgrade to the Zspeed HD CSC with the stock clutch?

Default is it ok to use the stock OEM clutch with the heavy duty csc

Yes the csc looks like it will work with many different clutches. Zspeed performance even asks you in a drop down box which clutch you have (or will have) so they can get you the right fitment for OEM or most aftermarket clutches .
