Nissan also claims that the 7 speed automatic is a sealed unit and not serviceable either. My point is that just because Nissan says that does not mean that it cannot be done.

You have two options:

1) replace them per the factory recommendations

2) find someone more qualified to build your engine

FYI, to this day, and after building many VVEL engines, we have never had to replace any VVEL components.
