Based on my Mustang experience I would think your average tranny in a car like this should be able to handle up to 450 lb-ft or so. That's what the TR3650 in my Mustang was rated at.
I'm really interested in how much ours can take. I've got the M6 so if anyone has info on that that'd be great. Like you I'm looking at the new TT kits and thinking 500rwhp would be NIIICE, especially if I didn't have to worry about the transmission being able to handle it or not.
