How much can they 370z tranny handle?

Title correction: How much can *the* 370z tranny handle? I have a 7-speed auto 370z and im looking into F.I. how much power can these trannys handle without any modification?

Based on my Mustang experience I would think your average tranny in a car like this should be able to handle up to 450 lb-ft or so. That's what the TR3650 in my Mustang was rated at.

I'm really interested in how much ours can take. I've got the M6 so if anyone has info on that that'd be great.

Like you I'm looking at the new TT kits and thinking 500rwhp would be NIIICE, especially if I didn't have to worry about the transmission being able to handle it or not.

The 7AT seems like pretty new transmission, and this is pretty much a new car so I doubt anyone can give you an exact hp number that parts start to fail.

wait for someone to make a valve body upgrade or it is very possible it will start to slip once u get into the 400's
