hey guys,

so I got in contact with some guys over at DE and this is what they said about the mounts:

Due to the suspended design, they do not touch metal to metal. We have these installed on our own 370Z and it is certainly stiffer than stock, but it is not uncomfortable. I have ridden in cars with aftermarket mounts and have felt my teeth chattering and that is hardly the case here. I personally have ridden in our Z a few times and I have no complaints about the difference in ride/comfort.

so those who thought this was strictly for a race car, it seems like its not the case
