Yes, do this and you can have the benefits of both. With the softer springs, you get rid off the play with the same feel without the spring. I know because this mod was very familiar with german cars like Porsche.

Why do so many car companies do this sh*t to begin with? Who in their right mind prefers this crappy linear feel over an actual clutch feel?
