You may be starting to engine brake before you are pushing the clutch in. you should let off the gas when the clutch is at its release point not when u start pushing the clutch in. if it feels the same as accelerating to 3000 and just taking your foot off the gas this is your problem. Is this your first manual car because my sister did this when i was teaching her in my beater?
^_^;; yes this is my first manual.

So your tell me to let go of the gas 100% before pressing the clutch?
