Why does everyone think that adding nitrous will instantly cause your car to explode? Nitrous can be just as dangerous as a turbo kit, but it can also be just as reliable. Of course you'll want some way to tune the car for the added nitrous and not just install the kit and go, much the same you wouldn't put a turbo kit on without a way to tune it. When used properly, nitrous is great fun. I'd love to put a kit on my car and get an extra 100 horses or so, but doing so WILL void the warranty which is something I'm not wanting to do just yet.

Doesnt the Zex kit comp for A/F adjustment, so basicly you cant even hurt the motor?

Hurt meaning Nitrous vs Turbo. They both add HP....

NOS can be safe if used properly.

I disagree. I simply cut a single hole in my hood, mounted a NOS bottle there, cut a hole and hooked into in the intake plenum, and cranked the bottle open. evilNOS then blew up my motor! NOS SUX!

No, in top of the hood with a hole cut through for access. Isn't that how everyone does it? I tried putting the bottle inside the car like I saw in a pic once, but the lines would get crimped when I shut the door. Poor design I'd say. :straightfacesmilie:

I know when I put NOS on my car, it's where my bottle is going. This way when the engine warms up it will also warm the bottle, saving me from having to buy a bottle warmer! With the money I save I can buy more NOS stickers and gauges to make my car go even faster.
