But I have noticed the car bucks more when downshifting from 4th to 3rd or up shifting from 3rd to 4th. There is such a big difference between these two gears, 3rd is short like 1st and 2nd but 4th is much longer like 5th. The only time I drive in auto mode is when the wife is in the car with me. I have about 25,000 miles on my Z and about 90% time in manual mode. I absolutely love this transmission I don’t think I can go back to a Stick after owning this 7AT with the paddles!

Agree with you 100%. I just love the manual mode in this car, would never go back to a manual stick shift. The only thing that would be better, would be a sequential.
