Will short shifter help my clunky shifting?

What was your previous car? The Z's tranny is clunky and shifting is notchy. There is no way to cure that, so if yer coming from say a Honda where

What was your previous car? The Z's tranny is clunky and shifting is notchy. There is no way to cure that, so if yer coming from say a Honda where shifting is very smooth and easy, you'll have to get used to it.
