Does anyone's transmission clunk from time to time when pushing the clutch in??

this happens to me in first gear sometimes when I disengage the clutch - I find it only happens when the engine is revving down, not up, so the sudden

this happens to me in first gear sometimes when I disengage the clutch - I find it only happens when the engine is revving down, not up, so the sudden back pressure release off the clutch during the engine brake is most likely making a sudden noise
