Default Engine cranks but won't start (not steering lock issue)

Hi All !

Vehicle info:
- 2009 370z, 6mt, A2A Supercharged. (I've just finished installing SC kit )
- car hasn't been started since May 22
- stock ECU (never tuned)

Engine cranks, fuel pump primes, and cooling fans run but won't start.

Battery is good, fuses are in good condition, and tested its ground point (even changed it). all sensors are replaced (genuine Nissan products). Spark plugs are working fine.

First thing pops in my head was ECU so I sent the ECU to local ECUTEK tuner, and he said nothing is wrong with ECU few days ago, but today, he told me that he is analyzing its data to detect anomalies using oscilloscope etc.

Could someone please shed some lights on this I can't think of any other parts which could cause this kind of issue.

Much appreciated !

If you have fuel flow and spark the only thing I can think is bad gas? Its 6 months old but that's not really that old. Seems kinda odd, double check the injectors and plugs?

Did you change the injectors? If so, you will need a base tune to get up and running.

Fuel pump might be priming but do you have correct fuel pressure at the fuel rail?

@fryzia23 - thanks for hopping in !

yeap, my mate told me the same thing haha. "Priming before actually firing doesn't mean its on" -> so I checked the fuel pressure. Fuel pump checked, filter checked, pressure at the fuel rail checked. After that, I put a screw driver to see that the spark jumps across. Confirmed that all 6 plugs are working fine.

little things can remain unseen and undetected...haha I will go through again and hope my tuner gets the car going today haha.

Spooler mentioned it but the OP never confirmed it. When you say “stock ecu never tuned”, does that mean the ecu was not flashed with base tune for the supercharger and larger injectors?

Tuner dropped by and flashed the ecu with base tune, and still wont start. He told me that ecu is getting all the signals from sensors.

hmm.

Solved !! she runs now haha

sent the ecu to another tuner, and discovered that a component in the ecu got disconnected. He opened up the ecu and soldered a component and the car starts straightaway.

Thanks!

Fans coming on upon key on is almost a dead give away of an internally damaged ECM.
