When I load test battery, it comes out to 11.38 volts, is that good?

Not to hijack OP's thread, but speaking of batteries, I noticed that on my other car, the battery post grease looks like it's drying up and there are crack marks

No signs of corrosion, and I used the grease that came with the post felt rings. What would cause this and indicate?
