Sounds like Z1 screwed up (not uncommon these days from what I've seen). The VLSD has a shorter axle stub on the driver side and longer one on the passenger

Sounds like Z1 screwed up (not uncommon these days from what I've seen). The VLSD has a shorter axle stub on the driver side and longer one on the passenger side. You'll need two of the shorter stub axles from the driver side for your Wavetrac install.
You need to contact Z1 and make them exchange the longer stub axle they sent for the correct, shorter stub axle. And let them know their website is wrong.
