Please help ID this hose that was cut by the belt

It might be called a bypass hose. As far as your 'belt alignment' issue, you need to check for loose bolts on the tensioner & idler pulleys, along with accessory

It might be called a bypass hose. As far as your 'belt alignment' issue, you need to check for loose bolts on the tensioner & idler pulleys, along with accessory mount points.. You might even have a damaged tensioner or idler pulley. What usually happens is that someone mis-installed the replacement belt one rib too far inboard. Since the belt has ribs, it' won't 'walk' into it's correct position.

To replace that hose, I'd remove the belt and the tensioner, it should give you enough access to replace the hose and clamps.
Spartan 1771, Rusty and BettyZ like this.
