Dirty fluid would cause your soft pedal. It has water in it. Gravity bleed it and clean the gunk out. Most folks with success use a better quality Dot 4

Gravity bleed it and clean the gunk out. Most folks with success use a better quality Dot 4 brake fluid such a Motul RBF600 or Castrol (forgot the name of it). Z34_JU likes this.
