Auto rev up while moving shifter to the side while driving in S Mode

It works pefectly and everything is fine but when i first bought it and turned s mode on and then put car to neutral and moved shifter to the side while driving, the car would rev up automatically (thinking im going to downshift) but after some time using it it doesnt rev up automatically while moving the shifter to the side. But while downshifting rev match is working normally. So i just want to know if something is broken or not but while downshifting it works perfectly as i said.
