Quaife LSD Question

Anyone know if on a VLSD, manual 370Z, what parts are needed to make it work with a Quafe LSD. Was thinking 38220-EG000 - Non LSD - LH & RH

Get a Wavetrac. They are much better. If you need to know what stub axles to get call Z1 motorsports.

With a Quaife, if you lift one tire the diff will open up. That won't happen with a Wavetrac. Do some research on it. I have never had a problem with Z1. They have always been perfect with me. As anywhere that you get parts from, it is possible to get the wrong thing. Heck, I worked at a Nissan dealership as a technician. Parts guys would get confused and hand me the wrong parts from time to time. It's just part of modifying and working on cars.

That shouldn’t happen with a Quaife Helical Diff

Why do you want the LSD? If you want it for drifting have you looked at Cusco?

OP, do yourself a favor and don't waste the money on a Quaife. They're f-ing garbage. As others have pointed out, if you unload a rear tire it will act like an open diff and give you unpredictable handling.

You want atleast a Wavetrac or better yet a proper clutch type LSD. The OS Giken is the best and smoothest of the clutch types.

I have to OS Giken. It's seamless in it's operation.

I apologize for the thread jack but since we’re on the topic with high recommendTikns on the OSGLSD....Does the OS Giken require any modifications when switching out the stock VLSD?

No mods. You just need to switch the one stub axle.
