Default Radiator

Never really noticed this until today. No heating/cooling issues nor any coolant leaks, and the hoses are firm once car is warmed up. When looking at the bottom of the radiator from the front of the car through the grill, I see two vertical lines that appear to be cut into the radiator. Is this normal?

Those lines are there to scare you. So you'll be glad to know they're working.
