Damn son that's a hard hit. But like you said, at least you have the oil pressure gauge! I think it would be worthwhile to have them pull the oil

Damn son that's a hard hit. But like you said, at least you have the oil pressure gauge! I think it would be worthwhile to have them pull the oil pump and see if it is in fact damaged and/or failing, and if so, whether the cause could be pinned down.

I'm thinking spun bearing. From low oil pressure. Just wondering if something got into the oil pump.
Years ago. I had a piece of valve seal ruin an oil pump. The motor had about 40,000 miles on it.  I was hoping things was going to work out for you with the gaskets.
