Default Test pipe install issue.

I installed the passenger side test pipe today with zero issues. I went to do the driver side "demon bolt" and snapped my 14mm socket. I pretty much knew it would break. Anyway, I got an impact 14 but now it doesn't seem to fit between the bolt and the steering rod that goes by it. It was getting late so I'm going to finish it later but I'd like to know how other people got an impact socket down there. It was a deep socket 14. I'm thinking I'll have to buy the shallow one for this bolt. Anyone share how they got around that aspect of the cat removal?

Before I knew what it was called (Demon Bolt), I had mine raised & had wheels removed.
I removed L/F inner fender liner/splash shield, also had a variety of sockets and boxed angle wrenches at the time.
I’ve heard others go from up top w/long extension & get it that way....just spray it down with PB Blaster or some other penetrating oil.

I used a short impact single hex, 3" 3/8" extension, the rest 1/2", then a BF ratchet/breaker bar. Good luck!

Ya, I bought 1/2 inch extensions yesterday. I read up on here first, so I knew to go through the top. At least my passenger side released on the first try. I'll cross my fingers for the driver side. Haha.
