So it seems like a common issue like the csc failure. Only solution is tk grease the axles??

I don't think it's as common as CSC failure but it's not rare, either.

Going by my experience with bearings in an industrial setting, a bearing that clunks needs either adjustment or replacement. Greasing alone may be "good enough" in this case.

If you can find a copy of the FSM, it will have adjustment procedures.
