I don't see the reason for all the concern. If you're going to re-build it right (i.e. Level 10), who cares who did what to it before? People re-build engines

I don't see the reason for all the concern. If you're going to re-build it right (i.e. Level 10), who cares who did what to it before? People re-build engines all the time. Can anyone explain why you can't do the same to a transmission?
