I fried my crank sensor and the car would not start at all. What are your afr's doing? It could be a bad injector. What tunning package do you have?

I fried my crank sensor and the car would not start at all. What are your afr's doing? It could be a bad injector. What tunning package do you have? If you have ecutek you can check to see if it is an injector by disabling each cylinder in sequence. You disable cylinder 1 and it should run like it is on 5 cylinders, then enable 1 and disable 2 and so on. If you disable a cylinder and there is no change in the way the motor is running then that is your bad cylinder or injector. This also happened to me and the car ran as you have described.

Thanks for all the advice. Please keep them coming.
I am running the GTM kit. I do have a leak coming from my catalytic converter. Once I pass emissions I’m going to get test pipes. I have an Uprev tune so I can’t try the ECUtek way but checking the injectors is my next step. If it was my guess it could be something fuel related or a cracked exhaust manifold. |
