3rd Gear "tick"
Hey guys,
So I was driving my car the other day and noticed 3rd gear becoming notchier than usual. When upshifting from 2nd to 3rd sometimes I will get a notch or tick that can't be heard but only felt through the shifter. I tried shifting slower and it will still happen. However if I shift to 4th then go to 3rd it is smooth as butter. I picked up some OEM 75w85 gl4 from my local dealership and am going to change the fluid tomorrow. I'm hoping this smooth's out the issue, but I am skeptical that it will. I really hope a new transmissions not in the future for this car. |
