Installed new clutch and its slipping!!

Clutch not clearanced correctly .... pressure plate is not providing sufficient clamping force against driven plate.

Does South Bend recommend dxd black billet flywheel ??

Alternative is the csc is partially pressuring the pressure plate (like you already have your foot partly on the clutch.

This needs measuring up.

Thrust race on csc needs to be free from pressure plate fingers with no pressure in the clutch line (eg: foot not on clutch).

I am not familiar with Z1 csc kit - is it concentric with the input shaft of gearbox ... if so, it needs adjustment to remove pre-load on the pressure plate.

If it is a fork-type, you should be able to adjust externally.

Anyone familair with the Z1 csc kit available to assist ....

He doesn't have the Z1 csc elimination kit, he has the zspeed HD csc. It is still a concentric slave, it doesn't have a fork.

This would be my first guess. I'd take it back to the shop that did the work.

FWIW, the Z1 kit is a fork type and adjustable from outside the transmission. ZSpeed also now has a CSC elimination kit that operates the same way.

However, as elhombre pointed out, the OP has the internal ZSpeed HD CSC, which is still concentric like the OEM CSC.

Is there another adjustment besides the clutch master rod? Please fill me if so

South bend makes the dxd black billet flywheel and I contacted joe at Zspeed and he verified all parts where compatible.

I am the one who installed it, I've done a ton of clutch jobs but this is my first to have an issue with. The car actually drives fine still and can even chirp 2nd but it doesn't seem strong enough to hold when lauching I'm thinking something is wrong with one of the products.

Did anybody esle buy a stage 2 daily south bend and it came with a exedy clutch disc?

Joe couldn't help you pinpoint the problem? I'm no expert by any means but maybe this DIY could help? I know there's an alignment tool for the clutch but I don't think that's your problem.

The alignment tool is to help you align the clutch plate and flywheel so the output shaft on the transmission will slide in apon installation.
