SprintBooster and similar products only alter the signal going to the ECM and no amount of manipulating that signal is going to get rid of lag. Only modifying the ECM will reduce lag to the minimum possible. Do any other performance mods (intake, exhaust) you plan on doing and then get a tune.

what if I do all that and get the sprint booster?

Then you have wasted your money. All a SprintBooster does is tell the ECM that you are pressing down on the pedal harder than you actually are. You can get the same effect by pushing on the pedal a little harder yourself.
